Nonsense resolved

Well, vacation's been taken care of, through the efforts of a couple of weeks of tense wheedling and negotiation. These are the problems with being at a different school from your wife. Since Tina's school lets out three days after mine and the other foreign teacher at my school is taking her vacation during the first week, I was left with trying to convince my school to figure out a decent vacation week for me to take.

Of course, since then there's been other, differing problems, but that's pretty much par for the course. Mainly, it's been in the form of getting my pay resolved properly. There was some sort of misunderstanding about how my salary was structured, which ended up screwing me out of about $150 last month. Theoretically, that's going to be put back into my account at some point, but this isn't anything that's guaranteed, in my book. We'll see how this plays out. (It's been sort of tense because of this, and I've been sort of wondering if this is going to make the coming year problematic.)
